Your Opinion Counts Take The All Peoples' Poll in San Francisco

A month ago,  some local residents were discussing various social and political issues confronting our lives, families and communities.   So much information from too many sources and not enough time to honestly sift through it all to separate fact from fiction, truth from propaganda.

So, on this day, Ms. Jennifer Friedenbach of the Coalition on Homelessness San Francisco (COHSF) passed by.

Some of us have been so busy working on struggles out of the front lines,  we haven't seen her in years.    It felt great to see her and her bright spirit that is so inspiring.

She chatted briefly on what challenges and victories her and our other rabblerousers and residents made, especially work on housing.

That made me think back to the process the COHSF has used for decades which is getting feedback from locals on a regular basis in work groups and 'committees' (for lack of a better word) to document what people want and map out strategies on how to get to where they need to be.

Our peers discussed that and came up with an idea to produce polls and surveys on a regular basis to help us all gain a better understanding of 'where in life' all of our residents are at in real time  (especially those of low income or being abused or oppressed in some way) and share those results & real life information with our community leaders, advocates and supporters in our community,  for prompt, well informed decision making & action.

Right now, we understand Google has removed Polls as a widget from Blogger/Blogspot.com Blogs, so stand by as we research a Form & Poll resource we can use to set this all up and invite you all to participate in the polls and surveys, no matter who you are, what group you represent, etc. so that we can build up diversity and inclusion from the very start.

  To Be Updated Again Soon...
