Respect Boundaries and Meeting Circle Space on Our SF Sidewalks: Rude Bike Messengers, et al. - Pay Attention To Your Bad Selves.

Attention:  For Profit Bike Food Messengers in the Mission District:

Who Do You Think You Are, Trying To Push Your Bike Into Our Group Meeting Spaces & Parking Meters on Our Streets, huh ?

Do You Think You Are Privileged When You Ride A Bike For A Corporation in Our City on Our Sidewalks and push your way into the middle of groups relaxing on our streets, so you can Lock Up, Illegally, At Parking Meters ?

Think Again!     Our City of San Francisco is a PEOPLE FIRST city.

This means when Our People are on the street, occupying a space, such as around a parking meter at the curb, so we can speak and smoke away from the doors of local cafes --  we do not want YOU to try to cut into our meeting circles (already pushed to the curb, thanks to unjust Sit and Lie Law that violates International Human Rights) --  to lock your bike up illegally on our parking meters.

We do ask you nicely, at first, and most of you 'get it' and go park elsewhere.  A word to the wise is sufficient, but the fools persist.

We appreciate people who respect us the first time we ask them to not bother us, park their bike near us, et cetera.

That is Our Right to Demand that from any person, to not have their bikes or property stuck into the middle of our assembled groups on the sidewalks --  but especially the tools and pawns transported here to displace us all.

Their Radios are loud and give us a headache and remind us of police action and violence.

Their Presence is disturbing when we see them, let alone when they jump up fast onto our sidewalks or run up into the middle of our groups to park, as if we were not there and did not exist, before they arrived on the scene.

This is called respect for your Host City where you are a Guest, Visitor or Newcomer to.

If we go to New York, for example, and see a circle of locals congregating, we DO NOT ride up on our bikes or walk up with our bikes INTO their circle to park it at the meter or pole in the middle of that group…

because they may stab or shoot you for VIOLATING their personal group space on their streets and sidewalks.   Because of aggressive lack of basic respect.

Memorial BBQ, Support Meetups
We are Guests in their hood and act appropriately as we expect others who visit or are new to our neighborhoods, to do the same.

Especially, if we're making profits by biking and try to force our will over the locals… not too bright !

No one standing in a group should ever have to ask a person twice, to go away and not invade their space and peace of mind.

Anyone who pushes that (insisting on being in or putting their bikes, bags or backpacks into the middle of our groups)  is asking for Anti-Harassment Orders, because we take our peace of mind, security and personal spaces seriously.

Baby Weber BBQ
We'll file against their own person and others at their company, who repeat this bad, intrusive behavior.

Because pushing in too close, after being told no - violates our right to be left alone and not bothered by what they want or need in the spaces that we already occupy for good purpose.

Only a fool or a Rude Control Freak Egotist keeps trying to force their will against locals -- who were doing fine --  until you came up into their scene.

So, we are perplexed why SOME OF YOU BIKERS FOR PROFITS keep trying to PUSH YOUR WAY into the middle of our groups on the streets.

Last night, in front of Taqueria La Cumbre, 500 Block of Valencia Street - we were having a BBQ Meeting and memorial for a fallen friend and discussing legal cases, with Members of Occupy SF, SF Awareness Group and San Francisco Cannabis Patients' Union and their Attorney.

We're working on several major federal and state cases involving Prohibition, Damages to Victims and setting up teams to do research on pending state laws (i.g. CA State AB26) which we do every night at the same spot.

We were actually discussing getting Anti-Harassment Orders and Restraining Orders against various 'corporate' agents who keep bothering and annoying us, or stealing local space and resources.   We've been meeting in groups like this every night or so, for the past 5 years, working on issues like this, for the community.

Everyone else around, knows us, respects us and leaves us alone in our space and we in turn, help them find housing, do legal work and feed them.

Left alone, we are all at peace and working hard for our community, every day.

515 Valencia St, Nr 16th St
Taqueria La Cumbre is our favorite local Mom and Pop, and we promote and send people there as often as possible.

We've known folks like those old SFPD Homicide Detectives (dressed in slick suits from the 1940's), who've been going there since they were rookies, or before, when they attended Mission High School.

Like most of our local Mom and Pop shops, our most favorite and once economical eateries are being pushed out by bad acting, anti-competitive mega corporations that  are not from here.

They steal our space, resources and local cash flows, which harms us all and causes impoverishment and suffering.

WE SUPPORT LOCAL MOM AND POPS.

Taqueria La Cumbre Menu
The owner and staff there enjoy us being outside, where we keep an eye on their cars, the trash out front and we feed all the hungry people.

Which makes for a very peaceful time for us all, on these street corners with our peers and street musicians and outreach people.

So, while we're doing our usual Meeting and BBQ, along comes this Food Messenger guy who just 'pushes' his way into the middle of our group to the commercial parking meter where we already have our service bike resting and our food is all around.

He kept trying to convince us why we should let him lock up his bike in the middle of our set up, next to our hot BBQ Grill and food all around...
Portable Bike BBQ
He said charming, seemingly persuasive things like, 'but, I promise if I lock it here, my bike won't touch your stuff… I'll only be a minute.. '  'Hey, it's important for me to park here because I deliver food..'

We pointed out he could lock up 10 feet away at two or three different spots, and in any event, we have this space occupied for our group meeting and do not want anyone else's bike or other stuff to be near or get mixed up into ours.

We have lots of thieves and we must keep watch on our own stuff.. when other people's stuff or bikes are in the middle of our group, it's too busy to keep track of our own stuff or prevent harm or damage to anyone's stuff... too crowded.
We told him several times before he kind of 'got it' but he left mad because he was INCONVENIENCED.

Well, his presence here and the  hassle he gave us and time he wasted and interruption to our group meeting were VERY INCONVENIENT TO OUR ENTIRE GROUP.

His lack of respect for locals, elders and an assembled 'family' that was already occupying that space OFFENDED US and made us angry because when we are in Roman, we act like Romans and 'go with the flows' when in other people's neighborhoods and communities.

Many newcomers that 'ran from' the people of the East, South and Texas areas usually do well here, because most of them 'live and let live' and 'go with the flow' and respect our elders and locals and poor and homeless and veterans.

The here-for-the-money newcomers are rude, paying four times market rate for everything (thanks to Chase Bank, et al) and do not care about our locals or the people who already exist in any place or spot on our street.  To THE MONEY GRUBBERS, we are all 'objects' in the way of their profiteering.
They'll steal space, invade cafes to do for profit training, steal outlets and wifi bandwidth, office space, sidewalks and DO WHAT THEY WANT no matter how offensive, illegal or rude it is.... it's all about them, in their own minds.

Those kinds of newcomers can leave town at any time or if they keep on harming us, we shall take steps to insure their compliance with our local laws, traditions and customs, for better or worse.

As they sow, so shall they reap.   San Francisco is the fastest boomerang karma affect spot in the world.

What happens next is based upon their own conduct and behavior.

WE CARE MORE ABOUT OUR PEACE OF MIND WITHOUT YOUR FOR PROFIT ACTIVITIES NEAR US BECAUSE YOU REPRESENT THE GENTRIFICATION THAT IS HARMING AND KILLING OUR PEOPLE EVERY DAY.

10,000 MORE NEW HOMELESS BECAUSE FOLKS LIKE YOU ARE HERE TO TAKE OUR SPACES, RESOURCES AND LOCAL CASH FLOWS AWAY.

   WE SHALL NOT SUPPORT THAT.

Uber-Lyft Banned in Virginia
We often drink and smoke and have all kinds of folks stop by us and we NEED THE SPACE WE ALREADY OCCUPY without anyone's bike being near or around us.

We do not want to be responsible it someone spills coffee or soda or food on it and we don't want THE INTERRUPTIONS in our thoughts and conversations.

Since all these FOR PROFIT valet parkers, food bike messengers and amateur for hire renegade drivers (Uber, Lyft, et al) came to town in the past five years -- we've had more NOISE, congestion, pollution, stress, irritations, conflicts, harm and death. .

Dangerous Black Uber SUV Story
More importantly, our peers are part of the groups who are documenting bad drivers and bad bikers to keep us all safe.

We're in support of clear bike lanes and every time you stubborn, rude bikers INSIST on parking your bikes at meters INSIDE our meeting circles you are negatively impacting community efforts to support those clear bike lanes.

So, when you see any group of folks standing in a circle on our streets, we  strongly advise you to LEAVE THEM ALONE.

DO NOT TRY TO WIGGLE YOUR BIKE
INTO THE MIDDLE OF ALREADY OCCUPIED SPACES AFTER THE FIRST NO, PLEASE GO AWAY.

Otherwise,  we may start targeting illegally locked bikes and have them all confiscated and you will be fined.   In addition to public exposure and anti-harassment - restraining orders.

   Are we clear ?
